CHP officers in Merced were left shaking their heads after pulling over a driver with an unusual license plate – turns out it was hand-drawn.
MERCED, Calif. (KABC) — California Highway Patrol officers in Merced were left shaking their heads after pulling over a driver with an unusual license plate.
Look closely – the license plate is actually a drawing.
This wasn’t going to fool anyone, but the agency gave the driver some points for creativity.
This, of course, is not allowed. The driver apparently told officers that they lost the original plate.
The CHP posted about the incident on social media, with a reminder that you can always request a replacement with the DMV “instead of breaking out the art supplies.”
