Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon on the 6300 block of Holmes Avenue in unincorporated Los Angeles.

According to the LASD Homicide Bureau, the incident was reported at approximately 2:45 p.m. on November 16.

The victim, described as an adult male, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. At this time, no suspect has been identified, and officials have not released additional details about the circumstances of the shooting.

Lt. Michael Modica of the LASD Homicide Bureau is leading the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the department at (323) 890-5500.
