Help CAPK provide coats and holiday meals to those in need

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — CAPK is asking the community to help support those in need this holiday season.

The Warm for Winter Coat Drive will help provide coats for those seeking shelter during the winter months.

CAPK is accepting donations of new coats from size medium to 4XL.

Donations will be accepted through January and can be dropped off at the M Street Shelter, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

CAPK is also asking the community to help provide meals for the homeless this holiday season.

An $8 dollar donation will sponsor a hot thanksgiving meal.
