Southern California enjoyed a brief break from the heavy downpours Tuesday morning ahead of the next storm system, which is forecast to bring more rain in the evening. Another storm is on track to deliver widespread rain Thursday into Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Over the past five days, some locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties have received more than six inches of rain, with at least one location recording over 12 inches.
