A man and woman were left wounded and bleeding in the San Fernando Valley after being stabbed by a suspect who entered their residence Monday night, according to police.
Officers were sent to the 8900 block of Orion Avenue in the North Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles following a report of a stabbing shortly before 10 p.m., a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, officers found a man and a woman, both 35 years old, suffering from stab wounds, the spokesperson said.

The unidentified victims were transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. Video from the scene showed the man and woman were conscious but bloodied as they were being loaded into awaiting ambulances.
Officers are investigating reports that a male suspect wearing a dark hoodie and a blue hat entered the residence and stabbed the victims before fleeing, the spokesperson said.
No further details were provided about how the suspect entered the home or whether anything was stolen, and the suspect was not located in the area when officers arrived.
