Sacramento deputies investigate man shooting at cars, avoid area

(FOX40.COM) — An investigation is underway after reports of a man shooting at cars on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 3:30 p.m., SCSO responded to Madison Avenue and College Oak Drive after reports of a man shooting at vehicles. Deputies said they have one male detained, but continue to search the area for evidence and/or possible other suspect(s).

According to SCSO, no injuries have been reported. As of 4:41 p.m., a helicopter and patrol units continue to monitor the area.
