Cornerstone Bakery in downtown Bakersfield is offering a wide array of creative Thanksgiving treats this holiday season. Jennifer Mebane, the owner, highlighted some of the bakery’s popular items, including a unique “Thanksgiving dinner” cupcake set. “This is our Thanksgiving dinner, but it’s the sweet version,” Menbane said. The set includes a carrot cupcake designed as peas and carrots and a mashed potatoes and gravy cupcake topped with caramel.

The bakery also offers an assortment of scones, cookies, and a pumpkin cake. Menbane noted that their brown butter caramel blondie is a crowd favorite year-round. Customers are encouraged to pre-order, but some items will be available in-store.

Cornerstone Bakery is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Special hours are available before Thanksgiving, but the bakery will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
