SACRAMENTO, Calif. — One pedestrian is dead after a crash in North Sacramento Wednesday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was between a pedestrian and a vehicle along northbound Highway 160, near North Royal Oaks Drive. It was reported around 12:30 p.m.

One lane of northbound Highway 160 is closed due to the crash. No other details are available.
