The Sacramento Police Department says the crash happened at the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Power Inn Road.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a crash where a man was hit by a vehicle in south Sacramento Wednesday night. 

Before 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Power Inn Road for reports of a crash. 

Police said the driver of the involved vehicle stayed on scene. 

The cause has closed a stretch of Power Inn Road from Fruitridge Road to Hickory Avenue.
