The annual art fair returns Feb. 26–Mar. 1 with 95 galleries from 22 countries, a refreshed Focus section and a free public art program

Frieze Los Angeles annual art festival is already looking ahead to its next edition.

The fair has announced the first details for their 2026 edition, which will take place Feb. 26 through Mar. 1, 2026, in the Santa Monica Airport, bringing together 95 galleries from 22 countries across Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, North America, and Africa.

Like past years, this fair will be anchored by its main galleries section alongside Focus, a special section that is dedicated to younger galleries. Focus spotlights galleries that have existed for 12 years or less and will again be curated by Essence Harden, the L.A.-based curator and co-curator of this year’s Made in L.A. biennial at the Hammer Museum, who was recently tapped to curate EXPO Chicago. The section is designed to give emerging galleries and artists a prominent stage within the wider fair.

Frieze Los Angeles will also bring back its free on-site public art program, curated by Art Production Fund, featuring site-specific installations and activations threaded throughout the airport campus and the neighboring athletic fields and community park. The program is intended to extend the fair experience beyond the tents, creating encounters with contemporary art that are open to the public.
