ALAMEDA, Calif. — Almanac Adventureland is the place for weddings, wrestling, birthdays, or relaxation all at the same time. Oh, and don’t forget you can also get a beer. Sprawled out on the west side of Alameda Island, Almanac offers a wide variety of activities under one roof and in the front yard.
“Making great beer is the starting point to being a craft brewery, especially in the Bay Area. It’s all those other things that you do that are the differentiators.
For us, beer is awesome, and we love talking about the beer, but we love talking about the community piece of it, our neighbors, our friends, our allies, all those things, just as much, if not more, as the liquid itself,” said Kevin Scoles, Executive Vice President of Sales at Almanac.
Food options and beer selections are vast at Almanac Adventureland. The property offers comfortable, family-friendly spaces to enjoy all the offerings. The brewery is the first of its kind in California to have a commissary kitchen. That allows Almanac to have partnerships with local vendors to bring in a variety of food options to enjoy while on-site. Along with the ability to accommodate group outings of all kinds, or simply hang out in the beer garden.
“There is so much going on here. If you show up here on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, there might be a 500-person wedding happening in the barrel hall, a corporate activation happening in the lounge, a baby shower in cellar east, meanwhile, there are 500 people in the beer garden and a professional wrestling event ready to start,” added Scoles.
