Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash near Mather Airport in Sacramento County on Thursday, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. Crews responded to the crash around 5 p.m. on Mather Boulevard near Arnold Way. Officials said two people sustained moderate injuries in the crash, while three people had minor injuries. Sac Metro Fire said all five were taken to an area hospital. Footage from LiveCopter 3 showed at least two vehicles with heavy front-end damage.
