BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Expect delays Thursday afternoon when traveling on southbound Interstate 5 near Grapevine Road after a crash involving a semi-truck and a Tesla.
The CHP’s website said the crash was reported at around 2:14 p.m., where a semi-truck appeared to jackknife into the guardrail.
The website said it is blocking the number one and two lanes.
There is about 40 feet of guardrail damage. It is unknown if anyone was hurt in the crash.
Caltrans said there is no estimated time on when the lanes will reopen.
Expect delays if planning in the area.
