The newly renovated Hornet Pavilion’s entrance can be accessed only through Gate 2a of Hornet Stadium, where the ticket booth for sales and will-call opens one hour prior to tipoff. Danny Brown 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Ace of Spades. Danny Brown’s major headlining Stardust Tour supports his newly released album of the same name. This tour marks a significant creative and personal milestone for the rapper. Tickets are $48.

Sacramento Kings vs. Minnesota Timberwolves 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Golden 1 Center. Come support your Sacramento Kings as they take on Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves. Tickets from $25.

Sacramento Men’s Basketball vs. San Francisco State 7-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Hornet Pavilion. Come support your Hornets as they take on San Francisco State. Open Mic hosted by Marcus Mangham – in the Callback Bar 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Punch Line Comedy Club, Callback Bar. Test your comedy skills in front of a live audience. Tickets are $9.

Book Friday Author Mixer 11 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 28, at A Seat at the Table Books, 9257 Laguna Springs Dr., #130, Elk Grove. Snag a mimosa from the cafe, mingle with your favorite authors, chat with them about their books, get them signed, and hear them read excerpts from their work. Free and open to the public; donations accepted.

Small Business Saturday: Storytime with Lydia Millyon 11:30 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 28, at A Seat at the Table Books, 9257 Laguna Springs Dr., #130, Elk Grove. Lydia Millyon is a local author and UC Davis student who wrote “All Around Her,” a heartfelt story about a girl seeking the beauty of the world even in times of chaos. After the reading, Lydia will lead a “Make Your Own Book” craft activity, a fun, creative workshop for kids. Free and open to the public; donations accepted.

Tony Roberts – Live Comedy 7 p.m. Friday-Sunday and 9:15 p.m Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28-30, at Punch Line Comedy Club. Tony Roberts, often called the “comedian’s comedian” by his peers, is known for his hard-hitting, energetic, and refreshing style of stand-up. Tickets from $35.

Db.boutabag – Live Performance 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Ace of Spades. The native Sacramento rapper is known for his distinct and highly listenable West Coast style of contemporary hip-hop. He is recognized as one of the most exciting voices rising out of Northern California rap. Tickets are $42.

Mario Hodge – Live Comedy 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28-29, at Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club. Oakland native Mario Hodge is known for his razor-sharp wit and animated stage presence. Tickets are $25.

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT: ’80s-’90s R&B and Hip-Hop Party 9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Harlow’s. Featuring all your favorite OG R&B and hip-hop anthems from artists like Montell Jordan, Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, Snoop, LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, Biggie, 2Pac, Aaliyah, and more. DJ @djladychar is taking you back. Tickets from $20.

The Sit Down: A Community Men’s Breakfast 8-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Fruitridge Collaborative in the cafeteria, 4625 44th St. Enjoy good food, great conversation, and positive vibes this holiday season, presented by Hooked on Fishing Not on Violence. Free and open to the public.

Bayou Classic Bash 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Digital Cafe and Lounge, 2251 Florin Road. Join the Southern University Alumni Federation – Sacramento Chapter for the Annual Bayou Classic Bash. Southern vs. Grambling — it’s more than a game, it’s a legacy. Comedy Night At Stylers 8-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at 2708 34th St. Join a one-of-a-kind evening featuring legendary comedian Esau McGraw, special guest Lawrence Owens from Washington D.C., and Sacramento’s own Lance Woods as the resident host.
