Danny Brown 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Ace of Spades. Danny Brown’s major headlining Stardust Tour supports his newly released album of the same name. This tour marks a significant creative and personal milestone for the rapper. Tickets are $48.
Sacramento Kings vs. Minnesota Timberwolves 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Golden 1 Center. Come support your Sacramento Kings as they take on Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves. Tickets from $25.

Book Friday Author Mixer 11 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 28, at A Seat at the Table Books, 9257 Laguna Springs Dr., #130, Elk Grove. Snag a mimosa from the cafe, mingle with your favorite authors, chat with them about their books, get them signed, and hear them read excerpts from their work. Free and open to the public; donations accepted.
Small Business Saturday: Storytime with Lydia Millyon 11:30 a.m.-noon Friday, Nov. 28, at A Seat at the Table Books, 9257 Laguna Springs Dr., #130, Elk Grove. Lydia Millyon is a local author and UC Davis student who wrote “All Around Her,” a heartfelt story about a girl seeking the beauty of the world even in times of chaos. After the reading, Lydia will lead a “Make Your Own Book” craft activity, a fun, creative workshop for kids. Free and open to the public; donations accepted.
Tony Roberts – Live Comedy 7 p.m. Friday-Sunday and 9:15 p.m Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28-30, at Punch Line Comedy Club. Tony Roberts, often called the “comedian’s comedian” by his peers, is known for his hard-hitting, energetic, and refreshing style of stand-up. Tickets from $35.
Db.boutabag – Live Performance 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Ace of Spades. The native Sacramento rapper is known for his distinct and highly listenable West Coast style of contemporary hip-hop. He is recognized as one of the most exciting voices rising out of Northern California rap. Tickets are $42.
Mario Hodge – Live Comedy 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28-29, at Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club. Oakland native Mario Hodge is known for his razor-sharp wit and animated stage presence. Tickets are $25.
THIS IS HOW WE DO IT: ’80s-’90s R&B and Hip-Hop Party 9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Harlow’s. Featuring all your favorite OG R&B and hip-hop anthems from artists like Montell Jordan, Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, Snoop, LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, Biggie, 2Pac, Aaliyah, and more.
