SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was killed in a shooting in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
After 2:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of Harris Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound and life-saving measures were performed on the victim.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said it’s an isolated incident, and there’s no ongoing threat to the community.
