The Disneyland Resort welcomes its friends to the Anaheim Resort for the Holiday Season and here’s a few of my favorite things from my recent trip to the “Merriest Place on Earth”!
Disneyland’s holiday season runs from November 14, 2025, to January 7, 2026, and includes events like the “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks, “A Christmas Fantasy Parade,” holiday overlays for attractions like “it’s a small world” and Haunted Mansion, and the festive “Disney Festival of Holidays” at Disney California Adventure.
This means MORE food! MORE merch! And of course MORE FUN at place Walt Disney built!
So grab your sipper, don your best Disney merch and let’s take a look at what’s in store during your visit.

For starters, don’t let a little rain stop you from visiting because they got you covered – literally! Disney’s friends were adorned in Disney themed parkas that can be purchased at the park and come in sizes for all. Don’t be surprised if it happens to rain on your parade because out of an abundance of caution, both parks will modify their parade schedules if necessary.

Back by popular demand is the Sip and Savor Pass* credential, available exculsively at Disney California Adventure Park, that offers six digital coupons which can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic menu items at Disney Festival of Holidays marketplaces and participating dining locations.
Here are some of my favorites.
Holiday Mash Bowl: Chicken, cheddar mashed potatoes, and turkey gravy with cranberry stuffing crunch and the Holiday M&M’S Éclair filled with milk chocolate mousse and topped with whipped ganache and M&M’S Milk Chocolate Minis
Al Pastor Mac & Cheese with tortilla crumble and cilantro
Irish Hot Cocoa Cocktail: Irish whiskey, Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s with cookies and cream flavors, melted chocolate, hazelnut purée, and Irish cream syrup garnished with whipped cream

Friends will be enamored by all of the holiday action taking place at both parks throughout the day but you will want to check the daily events calendar since the festivities are bound to change.

During the parade, iconic Disney characters like Elsa, Mickey, and Buzz Lightyear join Santa Claus for a walk down Main Street, U.S.A.Mirabel’s Gifts of the Seasons: On certain days, you can find “Encanto”’s Mirabel and her friends celebrating a “Fiesta de Navidad” with fun stories and songs in Disney California Adventure Park’s Paradise Gardens Park. “Believe … In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular: Would a visit to Disneyland be complete without a fireworks show? The experience is particularly special during the holiday season, with Sleeping Beauty’s Castle lit up with Christmas lights and decorated with icicles.

And as always, you will want to visit the rides which receive its annual holiday makeover at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.
The Haunted Mansion: Disneyland’s spookiest ride turns into one of its most festive come the holidays, with some “Nightmare Before Christmas” flair thrown in for good measure. You’ll also be able to see the annual gingerbread display here, which is decorated with black crows that have piercing red eyes. It’s a Small World: This iconic, old-school attraction with 300 animatronic dolls goes all out for the holidays, but you don’t need to ride it to experience Christmas cheer—its 50,000 exterior lights flicker on every day at 5 p.m. Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl: You can take a spin in this Cars-themed ride to the sound of festive holiday tunes and dances sung by Luigi himself.
