RIO LINDA, Calif. — A 15-year-old girl may have been kidnapped Sunday in Rio Linda, deputies say.
Citlali Itzpapalot Lerma is 5 foot, 3 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has long dark brown hair and brown eyes, according to a news release from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. She is missing and was last seen early Sunday morning in the Rio Linda area wearing a dark gray hoodie, light blue ripped jeans and black New Balance shoes.
Lerma was seen leaving against her will in a dark-colored SUV, possibly an older-model Ford Explorer, allegedly with 17-year-old Jesse Carranza, deputies said. She is deemed at-risk because of kidnapping and other crime concerns, per law enforcement.

Carranza is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 143 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, the sheriff’s office said. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans in a dark-colored SUV, possibly an older-model Ford Explorer, around the Rio Linda area.
Deputies said Carranza’s photo is being shared for public safety and awareness due to the urgent need and violent nature of the incident.Â
