
FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 24, 2025) – James Harvey, 48, was hit and killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday at a north Fresno intersection, according to Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
Fresno Police reported Sunday evening that they responded to Bullard Avenue and First Street, where they found a man lying on the roadway.
He was administered first aid before being transferred to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. That man was identified by the coroner as 48-year-old James Harvey of Fresno.
Investigators report Harvey was crossing the intersection westbound on Bullard Avenue when he was hit. The driver remained on scene and was not suspected to be under the influence.
