BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — It’s championship for two Bakersfield schools. Bakersfield Christian and Liberty take the field for the first time against one another in a the Division I-A section title game.
Bakersfield Christian is looking to continue its undefeated season by taking on powerhouse Liberty. Don’t look past their record, they have performed well in the playoffs winning two games against tough competition on the road. They’re on the road again — more like down the street — on Friday night at the Bakersfield Christian campus.
Eight Kern County schools remained in contention entering this week.
