BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the elderly man who died days after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle as 81-year-old Ruben Diza Agbayani of Bakersfield.
The coroner’s report said on November 17, 2025, at around 8:40 a.m., Agbayani was a bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle on Belle Terrace, west of Butler Road.
He was transported to Kern Medical, where he later died from his injuries on November 22.
