A Silver Alert is in effect Wednesday for a 78-year-old man who was reported missing after he was last seen in Long Beach.
Geofrey Leyva was last spotted at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday near Pacific Avenue and West 19th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Long Beach Police Department.
Leyva is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has brown eyes and brown hair. Authorities say Leyva was wearing a gray and tan sweater, tan loafers, black pants and uses a black walker. He is believed to be traveling on foot.
