LOS ANGELES (KABC) — For the 10th year, Hope the Mission calls upon the community to “move their feet, so others can eat.”
The Drumstick Dash is the largest 5k and 10k in Los Angeles County, held on Thanksgiving Day, with approximately 8,000 participants and more than 250 volunteers. This is an official certified 5k/10k course.
The ABC7 Street Team will be at the event with our photo booth to capture your memories. Attendees will also have an opportunity to go home with cool ABC7 swag.
The event will be filled with fun for the entire family to enjoy. Come out and participate in the dance contest, costume contest and “Lil” Gobblers race for kids that kicks off the dash at 7:45 am.
This event is a crucial fundraiser for Hope the Mission, and funds raised aim to provide approximately 3 million hot meals to unsheltered families across Los Angeles County.
Join our ABC7 Street Team in the expo center starting at 6 am with the race kicking off at 8:30 am at The North Hollywood Red Line/Orange Line Station 11234 Chandler Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601.
