Officials reported that the explosion also damaged homes on either side of the affected property and resulted in power outages for more than 20 homes.
“The moment I leaned on the window the air pressure changed and I saw the window to my house like suck inwards then there was a loud bang through the air and everything on my wall fell to the ground and I look to my right and I saw what I believed to be someone’s couch like 60 feet up in the air and it was really scary I had no time to think I just ran down without shoes on to see if I could help,” said neighbor Dylan Inman.
The cause of the explosion is unknown, and the name of the injured man has not been released.
