(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of three individuals possibly armed with guns in Del Paso Heights on Nov. 18.

The Sacramento police said during the first contact, officers discovered that two of the juveniles were carrying imitation firearms and one juvenile had an outstanding felony warrant.

SPD said officers searched the third juvenile’s backpack and found a revolver.

While officers were making arrests, the adult suspect fled on foot from officers into the neighborhood, SPD said. A K9 officer later observed the suspect running through a residential backyard.

The Sacramento police reported a K9 was deployed, safely arresting Dairous Oliver, 20, of Carmichael for weapons-related charges.
“This incident highlights our officers’ continued dedication to keeping our community safe,” SPD said.
