BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, for Tejon Pass.

Dense fog has been reported on the Grapevine due to the stratus over the Valley as it climbs up the mountains.

This advisory coincides with holiday traffic as people travel home for Thanksgiving.

Caltrans cameras on the Grapevine show the dense fog conditions.

Officials are advising drivers to use low-beam headlights, slow down, and keep a safe distance from the car in front of them.
