This was the second deadly shooting in Oakland County over the weekend. At approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Pontiac, Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol found an unresponsive man, identified as Antono Jason Craig, 52, of Pontiac, in a pickup truck on Karen Court in Pontiac. He, too, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, the sheriff’s office said, and was subsequently pronounced dead. Less than two hours later, the suspected shooter, a 26-year-old Pontiac man, was arrested in the parking lot of a Waterford Township restaurant. He’s held in the Oakland County Jail, pending charges.
The Oakland Press will report further on both cases as additional information becomes available.
