Reba McEntire is making it clear that she and Rex Linn aren’t married. Yet!

On Monday’s episode of the “Today” show, Reba was on hand to promote her NBC sitcom “Happy’s Place,” which she co-stars with her real-life fiancé, Rex Linn.
During the interview, host Savannah Guthrie said, “You also met your husband there. So, Rex, good ole Rex”

Which McEntire quickly interjected to correct Guthrie’s words. “Now, wait a minute. Before everybody has a conniption fit at home, we’re just engaged,” she quipped.
Guthrie apologized for the mix-up up to which McEntire clarified, “My family will go, ‘Wait, you didn’t tell us?!’” the singer explained.

As the flub happened, Linn happened to be in the studio for the interview and when the camera cut to him, he at first looked confused by the word choice before showing off a huge smile as his country superstar fiancé discussed their cute dynamic.

McEntire said working alongside her fiancé is a “blast.”

“He is a workaholic, and he loves to rehearse. Me, not so much on the rehearsal part, so he really makes sure that I know my lines, that I’m ready to go when we have a tape day. We have a blast. We’re so grateful and thankful that we get to go to work together, work together, and then go home together.”

“The Voice” coach added that filming season 2 of “Happy’s Place” has been better than the first season.
“Season 2’s so much fun!” she shared. “You know in season 1 you kind of get the meshing together and learning each other’s habits and how they want to work. And it was fun. Season 2 is so much more fun now we know each other.”
