BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding Kimberly Grinder, 33, and her 6-year-old son, Adam Verdin Jr., who were last seen on Dec. 1, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m. in the 6300 block of Castle Cary Drive, in northeast Bakersfield.

Both are considered at risk, as this is their first time missing.

Grinder is described as a woman, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt and blue robe.

Verdin is described as a boy, 4-foot-tall, weighing 70 pounds, and was last seen wearing a maroon long-sleeve shirt, tan pants, and tan sandals.

Grinder may be driving a 2003 tan GMC Sierra truck with California license plate 57796N3.
