1 killed in Mid-City crash on 10 Freeway – NBC Los Angeles

One person was killed Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles’ Mid-City area.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at about 2 a.m. to the eastbound freeway and South La Brea Avenue exit where they found a Honda Civic and Infiniti collided in the middle lanes of the freeway.

Details about the victim’s identity were not immediately available. The person died at the scene.

All lanes of the eastbound freeway were closed during the early stages of the investigation. Some lanes were still closed early Wednesday morning.
