BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A hearing for a mental health diversion motion for Zack Scrivner’s case has been postponed to December 15.
The initial hearing was set for October 16th.

The Kern County Superior Court website said it is “conditionally filed under seal.”
Former Kern County Supervisor Zack Scrivner was charged with three felony counts of alleged child abuse, and two felony counts of alleged possession of assault weapons. He pleaded not guilty.
In April 2024, Scrivner was accused of sexually assaulting one of his four children at his Tehachapi home.
Detectives obtained a search warrant and seized 30 firearms from Scrivner’s residence, including an AK-47 style rifle and an AR-15 rifle.
Scrivner stepped down from office in August 2024. He was first elected to the board of supervisors back in 2010.
