TWO. SO SUPER COOL. NEAT INSIGHT. ALL RIGHT, BRIAN, THANK YOU. YEAH, GREAT WEATHER TODAY. IF YOU LIKE HIKING IN THE FOG. YEAH THAT’S RIGHT. YOU KNOW, I KNOW EXACTLY IN THE MORNING IF YOU’RE GOING TO GO FOR A MORNING HIKE, IT’S GOING TO BE IN THE FOG. IF YOU WANT A LITTLE MORE SUNSHINE, I THINK THAT YOUR BEST BET WILL BE THIS AFTERNOON. BUT WALKING OUT RIGHT NOW, ALL CAMERAS LOOK LIKE THIS. PRETTY DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN PLACE ONCE AGAIN. WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY? WE ENDED THE DAY WITH A LITTLE SUNSHINE. WELL, YOU NOTICE THE CLOUDS UP HIGHER IN THE ATMOSPHERE. THEY WERE VERY SPARSE. THE CLOUDS, THE SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLEAR. THAT DOES MEAN THAT THE GROUND COOLED VERY QUICKLY. BUT WE DO HAVE HIGH PRESSURE OVERHEAD THAT HELD THAT COOL AIR DOWN TO THE GROUND, TURNING IT INTO FOG. IT CONNECTED RIGHT OVER SACRAMENTO. AND ONCE AGAIN, WE HAVE THIS VERY LONG LAYER OF TULE FOG, AND IT’S CAUSING SOME VISIBILITY ISSUES AS IT SETTLES TO THE GROUND THIS MORNING, IT IS BELOW A QUARTER MILE IN SACRAMENTO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND MCCLELLAN PARK, ALSO IN LINCOLN. YOU’RE LOOKING AT SOME POOR VISIBILITY DRIVING ON THE ROAD RIGHT NOW ALL THE WAY UP TO CHICO. IF YOU’RE HEADED OUT WEST ON I-80, YOU’RE LOOKING AT VISIBILITY AT A HALF MILE OR LESS IN STOCKTON MODESTO THAT FOG LAYER SITTING A LITTLE BIT HIGHER, STILL MURKY. YOU’RE STILL DRIVING THROUGH PATCHES OF FOG AND AUBURN FOG JUST HIT YOU. WE HAVE YOUR VISIBILITY UNDER A QUARTER MILE, AND THAT IS BECAUSE THE FOG IS LIFTING A LITTLE BIT. SO IT IS CLIMBING INTO THE FOOTHILLS. AND AS IT CONTINUES TO LIFT, I THINK THIS AFTERNOON WE COULD GET 1 OR 2 HOURS OF PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES BEFORE THAT FOG GROWS BACK IN AGAIN. TEMPERATURES HERE IN THE VALLEY EXPECTED TO CLIMB TO LOW 50S FOR HIGHS UNDER, CROSSING OUR FINGERS FOR MORE SUN. AND WE’RE GOING TO DO IT ALL AGAIN TOMORROW AND SUNDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE LOW TO MID 50S. WE’LL BE BACK
