The Fresno State Bulldogs will be bowling in Tucson this December.
On Sunday it was announced that the Bulldogs had accepted a bid to the Arizona Bowl where they will play against the Miami of Ohio RedHawks from the Mid-American Conference on December 27th.
The RedHawks finished the season as runners-up in the MAC, losing in the conference championship game against Western Michigan on Saturday to finish the season 7-6.
Miami of Ohio did lose to a Mountain West team earlier this season, dropping to UNLV by a final of 41-38 way back on September 20th.
For Fresno State, an 8-4 record in Matt Entz’s first season lands them in their 32nd bowl game all-time, and their first ever in the Arizona Bowl.
Fresno State lost in the Idaho Potato Bowl last season to Northern Illinois. Prior to that loss the Bulldogs had won five consecutive bowl games.
This will be the 10th edition of the Arizona Bowl this season. The RedHawks are their defending champion, having beat Colorado State 43-17 last season. The bowl does have Snoop Dogg as their sponsor of the bowl.
Kickoff for the 2025 Arizona Bowl will be on December 27th at 1:30 PT and will be broadcast on The CW.
