The Miami of Ohio RedHawks and Fresno State Bulldogs will face off in The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, presented by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop in Tucson, as was announced on Sunday.
The Arizona Bowl will be played at Casino Del Sol Stadium, home of the Arizona Wildcats, on Dec. 27. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. MST and can be seen on The CW.
Miami of Ohio went 7-6 overall this season, while Fresno State went 8-4. The RedHawks won last year’s edition of the game, beating Colorado State, 43-11.
Fresno State will be playing in its first Arizona Bowl this year. The Bulldogs played in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl last year, losing to the Northern Illinois Huskies, 28-20.
This will be the 11th edition of the bowl game and second edition sponsored by the alcohol brand. This will be the first time Miami of Ohio and Fresno State have played each other in football.
