BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — According to filed documents, $50 million is sought against Kern County for a Bakersfield woman seriously injured on Redbank Road and in a coma since mid-July.
The incident happened on July 17, 2025, just after 1 p.m., when CHP said a solo crash happened near the intersection of Vineyard Road and Redbank Road, injuring a woman.
The Newport Beach-based Avrek Law Firm claims that its client was driving on Redbank Road when she lost control of her vehicle and was ejected. The document states that the woman is currently in a coma and unconscious.
