Sacramento’s rock ‘n’ roll export Cake is coming home for two shows in March.The band known for “The Distance,” “Never There,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Lifestyle,” and “Short Skirt/Long Jacket” will perform at Channel 24 for all-ages shows on March 21 and 22. A presale for tickets begins Thursday at 10 a.m. with the password “hookandladder” ahead of a public sale on Friday at 10 a.m. Learn more here. This appears to be the first time the band will return to the City of Trees since playing a set at the Golden 1 Center in 2019. The band had performed elsewhere in the Bay Area and in Redding in recent years.
