Displaced oil industry workers offered support while searching for new careers

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Employers’ Training Resource is offering support to oil and gas workers who may be changing careers.

Danette Williams with Employers’ Training Resource joined Eyewitness News Mornings to share more details.

Their upcoming information session gives displaced workers from the oil industry access to programs and services that can help them transition into a new career.

The information session is happening on December 17 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 1600 East Belle Terrance.
