The Children’s Benefit League, which supports various nonprofits in the greater Long Beach area, held its 12th annual “Mingle and Jingle” fundraiser on Dec. 3 at Old Ranch Country Club — with guests brings toys for children.

The recipients of the toy trove included The Guidance Center, the John Tracy Center, The Dental Health Clinic, Ability First and The Children’s Clinic. These organizations provide care for underserved children in need of dental, medical, emotional, hearing and developmental disabilities.

The 100 attendees, the largest group yet, were greeted with festive holiday decor, a shopping bag and a champagne cocktail.

Guests mingled and jingled among 10 vendors and enjoyed a delicious lunch with a view overlooking the golf course. The CSULB Bob Cole Conservatory of Music provided the holiday entertainment under the direction of conductor Jonathan Talberg.

“It was the perfect way to start the holidays,” said Mary Bell.
