At least 1 person dead after vehicle overturns in South Sacramento crash

At least one person is dead after a Sacramento crash involving two vehicles caused one of them to overturn, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP said the crash happened on Elsie Avenue, just east of Stockton Boulevard, shortly after 4 p.m. A person inside the overturned vehicle was ejected and CHP said that person may have been struck by another vehicle afterwards.CHP also said another pedestrian may have been struck after the initial crash, but has not yet confirmed this.
