Authorities responded Sunday to reports of a Ferrari crashing into a building in Santa Ana.
Santa Ana Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority personnel arrived at the intersection of South Main Street and East Chestnut Avenue around 3:15 a.m. Sunday. They found the driver of the Ferrari had fled on foot, leaving a cell phone inside the car.
The driver was later caught and arrested, authorities confirmed. A firearm was also recovered.
The impact did not cause any structural damage to the building. It was unclear what type of building was involved.
There were no injuries reported.
