BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — There is heavy traffic on Hwy. 178 at Beale Ave. as law enforcement officials talk to a person on the overpass Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol Incident Page.
The website reported someone was on the bridge around 4:10 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2025.
The website said westbound traffic on Hwy. 178 was stopped., and traffic is being diverted at Mt. Vernon Ave. at this time. Drivers should avoid the area, and plan alternate routes.
