A driver was killed after colliding with a Metro bus in West Hollywood early Friday, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported shortly after 1 a.m. on Santa Monica Boulevard.
According to the LASD, the driver of a yellow Mustang was traveling at a high rate of speed.
A second person in the car was injured and transported to the hospital. Their condition is not known.
It is not clear what led up to the crash or if any passengers on the bus were injured.
Santa Monica Boulevard is still closed as the investigation continues.
