BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of removing copper wire from a business’s air conditioning unit in October.
Officials said the alleged theft was reported at a business in the 2100 block of Chester Avenue on Oct. 23 when the suspect removed copper wire from the air conditioning unit.

The suspect was described as a man in between 20 and 30 years old with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray cargo shorts and white shoes.
