The Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help Wednesday locating a 51-year-old man who authorities say suffers from “mental health issues ” and was reported missing in Lomita.

Masakazu Sasaki was last seen at 5 p.m. Monday on the 25800 block of Oak Street and Pacific Coast Highway, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.

Sasaki is Asian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, has black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy blue long sleeve shirt and dark colored pants.
