BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a woman’s purse at a southwest Bakersfield car wash.
The incident happened on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, when a suspect removed a victim’s purse from her open vehicle at Mister Car Wash, located at 4901 Gosford Road, said police.
The suspect is described as an adult, possibly male, wearing all black clothing.
The suspect’s vehicle is a gray Toyota Camry with paint oxidization and a sunroof.
