A driver is now facing several charges after crashing into a home at the end of a police pursuit in Lynwood on Wednesday.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, deputies were in pursuit of a driver in the Compton area at around 8:45 p.m. near Long Beach Boulevard and Tucker Street.
Deputies were chasing the driver for reckless driving and possible DUI.
The short pursuit ended near Imperial Highway and Bullis Road in the city of Lynwood when the driver hit a curb and was launched through the wall of a home on the 10000 block of McNerney Avenue.
No one inside the home was injured and the pursuit driver was transported to a hospital to be evaluated. The driver has since been arrested.
