A 26-year-old man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping a woman in Anaheim.<\/p>\n
Emmanuel Magana Suarez pleaded guilty to rape and forcible oral copulation, both felonies. Suarez\u2019s city of residence was not provided.<\/p>\n
Police were called about 3:10 p.m. Jan. 5 to a business in the 1900 block of East Lincoln Avenue for what was initially thought to be a case of indecent exposure, according to Sgt. Matt Sutter of the Anaheim Police Department.<\/p>\n
A dispatcher, skeptical that it was a sex act between two consenting adults, raised the call to a priority and another officer accessed a traffic camera in the area and saw the victim was not moving, Sutter said.<\/p>\n
That officer told the responding officers, who got to the scene quickly and were able to get the woman to a local hospital, Sutter said.<\/p>\n
