REDWOOD CITY, Calif. \u2013 A proactive police operation at Sequoia Station in Redwood City led to the arrest of a suspect accused of selling narcotics near the train platform, according to the Redwood City Police Department.<\/p>\n

The operation, conducted earlier this month, involved collaboration between Redwood City Police Department (RCPD) officers and detectives, with assistance from the San Mateo County Sheriff\u2019s Office. The team also utilized the department\u2019s Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program to monitor the area and ensure a safe and efficient arrest.<\/p>\n
Police said the suspect was found with 25 bindles of methamphetamine, along with cash and packaging materials. The discovery was made during a targeted enforcement effort aimed at addressing illegal drug activity around public transit areas.<\/p>\n
