Based on a 1957 children\u2019s book by the late La Jolla author Theodor \u201cDr. Seuss\u201d Geisel, the\u00a0musical\u00a0by Timothy Mason and Mel Marvin premiered in 1994 at a children\u2019s theater in Minneapolis.
