Officers are investigating a homicide after three people were shot Sunday morning at an apartment complex near Pleasant and Fedora avenues, the Fresno Police Department said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Officers responded at 10:53 a.m. to a nine-round ShotSpotter activation and found three gunshot victims, police said. A 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where both were listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n
A third victim, identified as Mariano Cabrera, 35, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and was also transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died, police said.<\/p>\n
Homicide detectives said Cabrera and the 30-year-old man were confronted by an unknown male suspect inside the apartment complex, who fired several rounds, striking both victims.<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old woman, who is unrelated to the other two victims, was unintentionally struck by gunfire.<\/p>\n

Detectives are searching the apartment complex and surrounding neighborhood for witnesses and surveillance video.<\/p>\n
