(Dec. 23, 2025) \u2014 Authorities are investigating a crash in Bakersfield that involved at least two people struck in a pedestrian accident on East Roberts Lane Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>The incident was reported shortly after 6 p.m. in the 200 block of East Roberts Lane near Hart Street. CHP officers and Kern County Fire Department personnel responded and were observed at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>When news crews arrived, no pedestrians were visible in the roadway.
